Senior Chinese official Li Changchun Thursday called for reform and innovation in promoting the development and prosperity of the country’s animation industry. Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remark during his visit to the first China Animation and Cartoon Arts Exhibition held in Beijing.
